Play With Your Food!
This may not usually be encouraged at the dinner table, but takes on a whole new meaning when creating art with your kids! Use sliced fresh veggies and fruits as stamps – we love the floral pattern of okra, but you can use apples cut in half, sliced celery hearts, even brussels sprouts to create colorful patterns on paper.
Simply slice the vegetable, dip in some paint and stamp away.
For our pattern, we used bright yellow card paper with pink okra stamps to drive away those Monday blues! Don’t blame us if this prompts your little ones to ask for some okra for dinner, but here’s a simple, roasted Bhindi Masala recipe just in case 🙂
